**The Role**
We are seeking a Project Support Officer to join our team within the Information Assurance Systems Program Office (IA SPO).

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Perform and achieve complex project management within an integrated workforce.
- You need to have knowledge of and compliance with, legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.
- Manage project activities and inputs in accordance with organisational practices and standards appropriate to the complexity of the project.
- Facilitate administrative and coordination requirements,
- Engage and coordinate resources,
- Meet governance and reporting requirements;
- and support business planning and related activities.

The right person for this role will show flexibility to respond to the changing context and shifting priorities of the Defence environment, and agility to realign resourcing to meet new demands.

**About our Team**
The Information Assurance Systems Project Office (IA SPO) within Joint Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems Branch (JC4S) is the procurement and sustainment organisation for High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment within the Department of Defence.

Project JNT09141 is an acquisition project within IA SPO responsible for the remediation, modernisation and transformation of High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment across the Defence fleet.
- High-level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative, with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives.
- Ability to establish clear plans and timeframes, and respond positively to change and uncertainty
- Innovative and adaptive thinking, and readiness to take accountability while taking a risk-based and flexible approach to delivering outcomes
- High-level written and oral communication, agility and flexibility, adeptness at collaboration, and ability to effectively manage within an integrated team environment
- Sound commercial and business acumen and a demonstrated understanding of the Defence Industry sector in Australia.
