- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $69,344 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super + leave loading
Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream B) - Level 5 of the EBA5
- 9 day fortnight
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Caboolture

In this role, you'll primarily operate a roller, along with other medium sized machinary on a daily basis. You will have the opportunity to alternate between operating a roller, backhoe and/or grader where trained and licenced. Your main responsibilities will involve performing road and drainage maintenance tasks alongside our regional rural roads team, with a focus on gravel road maintenance.

Key duties include:

- Operating various medium sized plant equipment, primarily the operation of a roller
- Switching between different machines (roller, backhoe, grader) as required/licenced
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections on relevant plant and equipment
- Reporting any defects, safety concerns or issues related to the machinary or ongoing projects
- Assisting in road and drainage maintenance activities, focusing on gravel road maintenance

**About you**

Paired with the above mentioned skills and experience, you will also hold a current truck licence (minimum class - HR - heavy rigid), a Construction Induction Card and Certification in the operation of Roller (LR) and at least one other of the below:

- Backhoe (LB) - _highly desirable_
- Grader (LG) - _desirable_
- Excavator (LE)
- Skid Steer (LS)
- Front End Loader (LL)
