**About our opportunity**

The Stockpiles Sites and Recycling team **manage a program across multiple sites** completing priority works alongside daily maintenance and supply works promote ‘Zero Waste’ targets across Asset Maintenance. As the Operations Lead - Stockpile Recycling Maintenance, you'll be managing the daily and reactive **maintenance of the sites** using internal and external plant and machinery according to site based management plans, routine site inspections, environmental authorities, and legislation. Key activities include:

- Developing and implementing material separation and stockpiling processes across multiple sites
- Investigating opportunities to increase support stakeholders through the intake, supply, and development of materials
- Working with the leadership team to develop and promote ‘Zero Waste’ targets across Asset Maintenance
- Leading the work team to ensure that all plant and equipment is maintained, functional, and all safety related requirements are in place
- Managing multiple site locations on a day-to-day basis, including site safety and environmental controls throughout stockpiling, and maintenance activities
- Recording daily quantities of outgoing materials and manage the relocation of produced materials to satellite sites
- Participating in after hours and emergency response by the department.

We're looking for your** day to day management skills** and ability to work within broader teams and drive a positive team environment. Bring you experience **operating plant and machinery and materials handling and recycling**, as well as:

- Experience in the day-to-day management of stockpile sites and the implementing safety and environmental controls
- Ability to complete the relevant administrative activities
- Certification in the operation of Backhoe (required)
- Certification in the operation of Excavator (required)
- Current HR Class Driver’s Licence (required)
- Construction Induction Card competency
- Current First Aid and CPR Training (or the willingness to obtain)
