**About the role**

Reporting to the Residential Manager, Maranoa Centre is seeking experienced Carers to join their team on a Permanent part time or casual basis. If you’re reliable, motivated and passionate about caring for older people, we would love to hear from you.

**About BaptistCare Maranoa Centre**

Located in the picturesque township of Alstonville, Maranoa Centre sits on truly magnificent grounds. Our lush rainforest patch has over 30 species of established rainforest trees, including a Moreton Bay Fig tree where many people love to rest and read.

Maranoa Centre provides 90 beds for residents across all levels of care, including dementia care and respite care services.

**Duties may include**:

- Assistance with a wide range of Person Centred Care in accordance with Care Plan
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

**Skills & experience**
- Previous experience as a Care Service Employee
- Able to work every weekend or every second weekend
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- We encourage Nursing and Allied Health students to apply
