**What you'll be doing**
As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will play a vital role in supporting patients’ rehabilitation journeys, providing high-quality care under the guidance of Registered Nurses. You will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through compassionate, hands-on support. Key responsibilities will be to:

- Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care in collaboration with the nursing team.
- Assist patients with personal care, mobility, and communication needs.
- Support clinical staff with procedures, equipment cleaning, and ward maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Contribute to a positive and safe environment by following health, safety, and quality procedures.

Selection Criteria**:

- Applicant must hold Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing degree second year
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems.
- Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills,, including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
