**About the role**

We are seeking permanent part time Disability Support Workers who have interest in supporting participants with high complex needs. You will work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) to support those with medical needs and significant manual handling requirement to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.

**About you**

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have demonstrated experience providing support to participants with high complex needs and have the following skills and attributes:

- Minimum Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support
- Able to work in challenging environment (Desirable)
- Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish a professional relationship with participant and their families
- Able to read and write
- Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required
- First Aid and CPR training or willing to obtain one
- Current Open Driver’s License

**Able to obtain**
- Cert III in Disability Services
- NDIS worker screening check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS COVID 19 infection control certificate
- NDIS orientation module
- Proof of Full Vaccinations against Covid-19
