Room Leader

Room Leader - Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualified.

We are searching for **dedicated educators **to join our vibrant team at our family owned centre at Turramurra on Sydney's upper north shore. Little Wallabies ELC opened 7 years ago, it features lovely large rooms, a natural outdoor environment & quality resources. We believe in working as a team with the children are No.1 priority.
- **Positions Available**:_
- **(1) Room Leader (ECT/Diploma) (potential for Educational Leadership position)**_
- **(2) Room Assistant (ECT/Diploma) will consider working towards. potential to be mentored for a leadership role**_

**Qualifications & Experience**
- ACECQA approved Qualification (Essential)
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework & the EYLF
- Experience in programming & completing individual observations
- Have a current working with children check and first aid certificate.
- Be an Australian Resident or hold a working visa (this is essential).
- Child Protection certificate current
- Experience as a responsible person (preferred)

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Curriculum planning in collaboration with the team
- Passionate about creating positive relationships with children, families & educators
- Supporting new team members
- Genuine interest in promoting children's learning & well-being
- Planning intentional teaching experiences for the children
- Supporting inclusion & learning for all children
- Building & maintaining harmonious relationships
- Contributing ideas to the room & the centre
- Are willing to work with all age groups (we are a 0-5 years service) with family grouping in the morning & evening
- Good communication skills getting down to the children's level
- A team player, who is professional at all times & well organised.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $34.00 - $43.00 per hour
