**Temporary, Part-time Educator position with the Pre-school group**

The position is for a 10- week block, starting Mid
- August in the Pre-school room for 3 day per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), May extend to 4 days, if available.

You will be working alongside the Room Leader in the Pre-school room, supporting with programming, documentation, and room management.

The service will support the educator with professional development.

**Mother’s Love Early Education & Childcare Service** is a non-profit charity in Burwood, Inner West Sydney with 26 places for 2-5 years old.

We have been assessed as meeting in all areas.

The education and care service has a warm atmosphere, friendly and professional staff team.

The management is always supportive to all the educators and staff.

We facilitate staff education and training to keep up with the current early childhood field.

**Requirements**:
An approved Diploma in Early childhood Services. _Students with a Cert 3 (Students studying for Early Childhood degree or Diploma) are welcome._
- Proficient in communicating and documenting in English.
- Experience working with children in a long Daycare situation.
- Ability to work well in a team situation.
- First -Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Working with Children Check

**Preferences**
- Computer skills - Microsoft word,
- Genuinely interested in the field of early childhood as a profession

**Personal attributes**:

- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

**Interest and skills** in music, arts or crafts, sports, gardening will be appreciated.
