Mountain Creek State High School caters for approximately 2,200 students and operates a 'split shift' timetable. Senior school students (years 10, 11 and 12) attend school from 7.30am-12.55pm. Junior secondary students (years 7, 8 and 9) attend school from 10.25am-4.05pm.

About the role
As an Administrative Officer you will have responsibility for the following:

- Administer day to day financial matters (e.g. process payments and orders, receipting, banking, reconciling invoices for payment, follow-up on late payments as directed by Principal or Business Manager. Input and export financial data to/from OneSchool.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. school and departmental staff, parents, students, and community members); provide information and advice in line with school policies and/or Principal directives; and demonstrates empathy, emotional understanding and support.
- Prepare correspondence and documents such as reports, forms, newsletters, prospectuses, memorandums, examination papers, class notes, letters to parents and school Annual Reports. Draft, check correspondence, with guidance from the Principal or Business Manager concerning correspondence of a non-routine nature.
- Other duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Principal, Business Manager or nominated delegate.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services. A Criminal History Clearance must also be obtained prior to commencement.
