As Research Communications Coordinator, you will leverage your communications expertise and project management abilities to deliver high-quality strategic communications projects to support our research community.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan, implement and manage strategic communication projects that help keep our researchers and partners informed and engaged in the work of the University.
In this role you will:
- independently research, plan, and develop stakeholder presentations, internal news items, and marketing collateral
- ensure content is fit-for-purpose for a variety of internal and external platforms, maintaining brand consistency and alignment with University guidelines
- provide high-level advice on strategic communications, drawing on the tools and frameworks available within the Division and University.
- This two-year fixed term position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land)._

**What we offer**
The remuneration for this position is from $99,655 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

- A degree with at least four years of subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

- Proven ability to align project work with short, medium and long-term needs and to organise and manage time accordingly.
- A strong track record of writing effective, engaging and creative content for a range of channels as well as experience editing and proofreading copy.
- Proven ability to effectively and respectfully engage with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation and maintain positive relationships critical to the success of strategic communication initiatives.
