The School of Environmental and Life Sciences is one of five Schools within the College of Engineering Science and Environment. As the largest School in the College, the School of Environmental and Life Sciences (SELS) offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The School maintains numerous internationally significant research activities with substantial numbers of higher degree research students, as well as excellent research facilities.

This position will contribute to undergraduate teaching in first, second and third-year courses and potentially at postgraduate levels. The role requires a research track record commensurate with experience and must have a clear vision for evolving a successful research future and innovation portfolio.
**How will you inspire us**
- Completed a doctoral qualification in Human Geography.
- Demonstrated record of publication or non-traditional research output in high-quality outlets including development of international and national research collaborations and/or partnerships.
- Demonstrated recent ability to achieve national recognition in their discipline.
- Skills in active supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Demonstrate recent ability to undertake high quality teaching in Human Geography.
- Demonstrate recent ability to contribute to the preparation and delivery of course modules and coordinating one or more courses, including collaboration in curriculum design and delivery.
- Ability to efficiently perform in allocated internal and external roles, sharing academic service responsibilities.
