**The Role**
Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Delivery Division (GWEODD), currently have a vacancy for an APS 5 Contract Manager. The Contract Manager will be working within the Land Explosive Ordnance System Program Office (LEOSPO). LEOSPO forms a part of the Explosive Material Branch (EMB), which manages the acquisition, and sustainment of all explosive ordnance capabilities for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
LEOSPO is looking for a highly motivated Contract Management Officer with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoy working as part of a dedicated team. This role will see you involved in procurement planning, developing strategies, schedules, tender and contract documents, contract change proposals and other contract management activities in compliance with legislation and procurement policies. - BDCPs may cease should you change positions that no longer attract a BDCP.
- Should the BDCP be ceased you will be advised and your salary will revert to your substantive salary.
**About our Team**
LEOSPO is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch which is part of the new Guided Weapons Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Delivery Division. Our team is made up of various disciplines (including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services). We are predominately located in Canberra and Penrith, and our focus is to acquire and sustain munitions for the Australian Defence Force.

The successful applicant should have experience in procurement planning, developing strategy, schedules, tender and contract documents, contract change proposals and/or other contract management activities in compliance with legislation and procurement policies. You will require excellent communications skills and be able to work with limited supervision, think on your feet and make decisions that will have a positive impact. You will also be able to identify problems and offer solutions to achieve common goals.
