Gosnells, Australia Autism Association Full time

**About Us**

The Autism Association of WA is one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit Autism specific service providers, and the only specialist organisation providing a full range of services from early childhood through to adulthood in Australia. Together we are inspired every day to make a difference in the lives of individuals with Autism. We are a dedicated, passionate, supportive team joined by a common goal and are deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life of every individual with Autism and passionate about supporting them to live their best life possible.

**About the Role**

We are establishing a new home in the Gosnells area and have exciting opportunities for experienced Residential Support Workers and Community Support Workers to be part of this new team.

Our Residential Support Workers make a positive difference in the lives of the adults residing in shared homes by assisting them to live the life they choose, including daily activities such as hobbies, personal care and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning and maintaining a home. Residential Support Workers are also responsible for keeping up to date client records and administration tasks.

Residential Support Workers work a three-week shift pattern of alternating 2.5 days on and 2.5 days off, followed by 9 consecutive days off. This provides consistency for people we support and work-life balance for Support Workers.

Our Community Support Workers spend their days supporting people with Autism to carry out daily tasks, helping them get to appointments, exploring interests and hobbies or going on adventures in the community. These are permanent, part-time roles, with possible additional hours available at other homes across the Association.
