Our individualised approach matches our Support Workers to the personalities, goals and expectations of our Members.

We are seeking a support worker that can support a teenage member of Cam Can that lives with a Disability in the Gosnells area. We are searching for a dedicated and caring person who will be able to support this member and their family throughout the week on a fixed roster on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The role will involve supporting a young man two days a week with his morning routine, transport to and from school, support with afternoon routine as well as support every second Saturday for community access.

The position would ideally suit someone who is resilient, patient, caring and kind, and with a love of music. A love of gaming, Lego and dogs would also be a great match for this person. We are looking for people who are interested in making a difference, who are consistent, reliable and can commit to providing quality support. You will ideally have had experience in, and be able to demonstrate, a proactive and engaging style of support, display initiative and have excellent communication capability.

As the successful applicant, you will ideally have experience in supporting someone with an intellectual and physical disability. This is not essential however as the most important aspect will be your ability to build rapport with the person you are supporting.

All new support workers will be provided with an extended, person-centred orientation and mentor arrangement.

- Understanding of professional boundaries and privacy and confidentiality issues
- Reliable
- A proactive approach to the safety and well-being of yourself and Members
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to provide prior to commencing employment)
- NDIS Module (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions and your own vehicle
