The Ship Inn at Southbank is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor / Functions person for an immediate start. This role will be a combination of working in functions and also working in the restaurant as a Bar Supervisor.

This is a hands on role for someone with proven experience in bars, pubs restaurants, functions, conferences and events or a combination of these. This role includes but not limited to:

- Must have experience overseeing a busy pub/restaurant but the role is hands on so you will be waiting on tables and serving in the bar
- Providing outstanding customer service - must love hospitality
- A mature outlook with responsibility for closing the venue
- Must be available nights and weekendsSetting up and packing down of functions
- Hands on running of functions/events
- Communicating with management, kitchen staff and clients

We are a small friendly team here at the Ship Inn and this position would suit those that love the variety that functions have to offer and aren't afraid to help wherever they are needed

Casual position with plenty of hours for the right person

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
