**About the Role**

Black Star Pastry is on the look-out for an experienced Front of House All-Rounder with Supervisory Experience to join our team located amongst all the colour and culture of Newtown's King Street.

Although famous for our cakes we take a lot of pride in our coffee too and partner with St Ali to provide the full specialty coffee experience. Surely you can’t have one without the other

We are looking for a people focused person who loves working in a team and delivering the best experience to our guests.

**We have on offer 20+ hours per week, depending on your availability.**

**Great Casual Rates**

Monday - Friday - **$30.10 ($34.79 for Supervisor shifts)**

Saturday & Sunday - **$36.12 ($1.75 & $48.70 for Supervisor shifts)**

Public Holidays - **$60.20**

**About You**
- At least 1 year experience as a Barista
- Ability to connect with customers and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Motivated and positive team player
- Gets a kick out of maintaining consistent product quality
- Authentic and down to earth with a genuine love of people

Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with stores across Sydney and Melbourne

We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it “the world’s most instagrammed cake.”
