About the role
Team Global Express (TGE) are seeking the support of a driven Sales Coordinator. This role will see you support the Sales Team, empowering them to deliver their portfolios with exceptional customer and service experience. You will help drive accountability against KPIs and also assist the Head of to drive efficiency, visibility and exposure of the courier Business Development (BD) function within the wider TGE sales environment. The Sales Coordinator, in exceptional circumstances, will also manage the escalation path for new a customer to enable the BD to remain focused on core implementation and furthering the pipeline of new customers alongside. This role requires someone who is passionate, has great attention to detail, organised and enjoys building relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management and coordination of activities relating our portfolio of Accounts
- Assist in reporting processes between Team Global Express and our accounts
- Maintain accurate and up to date operational contact lists, hierarchies, and contact details in the CRM
- Prepare reporting and analysis for customers as requested
- Manage service-related escalations from the customer and/or operational teams to ensure timely resolution
- Report operational wins and improvements that can be incorporated in case studies and quarterly business reviews
- Customer list management (rate review, internal information requests etc)
- Provide data analytics and insight to aid sales team in meeting preparation
- Support BD as required to maintain Salesforce with updated accurate data
- Regularly report on team activities, including sales results, service levels, prospects, tender opportunities, competitor activities and customer feedback
- Proactively identify solutions for areas of reporting and customer metrics which could be removed and reallocated as examples of non
- value add activities
- Provide feedback/updates training where improved processes could be implemented or individuals need support
- Support with onboarding customers as required
About You

- Prior experience in business development advantageous
- Tenacious, resilient, and driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles

- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to all level of stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude

- Proven ability to provide operational service solutions and improvements for customers
- Reporting skills to create accurate and timely performance reports

- Stakeholder management skills to identify the right stakeholders and understand their needs and drivers
- Influencing skills to convince customers and internal teams to pursue, prioritise and implement improvement initiatives
- Experience and knowledge of basic BD principles and CRM management
