This is an exciting and unique opportunity located in Narooma on the beautiful south coast of NSW.

We are seeking the expertise of an enthusiastic and thorough Groundsperson who takes pride in their work, and works with genuine care.

Situated on 63 hectares the site is diverse in composition. There are approximately 3 hectares of manicured lawn and garden areas, orchards, native plantings, woodland vegetation, open grassland and highwater beach frontage. The natural beauty of this property is truly astounding; you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and presentation of this pristine and renowned landscape.

The Role:

- Grounds maintenance including mowing, pruning, hedging, weeding and fertilising
- Landscape gardening as required and directed by landscape architect
- Basic maintenance and repair of machinery including tractors, commercial mowers including cylinder mowers, whipper snippers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, etc
- Basic repair and maintenance of private residence (2), facilities and property
- Carry out general repairs to machinery and equipment
- Complete any errands and order stock as required
- Provide care to domestic animals and livestock
- Co-ordination and supervision of contractors
- Loading, unloading and moving garden supplies and equipment, transplanting flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns
- Any other duties as directed

The Successful applicant will possess:

- Sound knowledge of plants and soils - Particularly in different climates
- Ability to achieve deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner
- A strong work ethic and be reliable
- A sound level of health and fitness due to the physical nature of the role
- A valid driver's license (manual)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to execute and perform multiple projects at once
- Capability to work safely using machinery and equipment, promoting safe practices within the workplace
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team

Qualifications in horticulture or greenkeeping are regarded as much as proven significant experience and a can-do attitude. The role is hands on and requires a high level of dedication and commitment to ensure the successful and continula operation of these beautiful properties; weekend rostering is used to achieve expectaions.

Professional salary on offer with private use vehicle.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
