The Role

This role is multi-faceted, with responsibilities in both our warehouse and showroom. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week with rostered hours between store opening hours of 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

As a Sales Assistant you will
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with trade customers
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Quoting on technical products and solutions
- Operating the company forklift to load and unload trucks and shipping containers
- Assisting with in-store displays and store presentation

About you
- Customer service experience is essential, along with confidence, initiative, and enthusiasm
- Able to lift 20-25kg comfortably
- Team player with an ability to work autonomously
- Exceptional safety awareness
- Effective planning and time management abilities
- An eagerness to learn about a niche industry
- A forklift license is desirable

**Salary**: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- ARUNDEL, QLD 4214: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 3 years (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 5 years (preferred)

- Australia (required)
