Southern Cross Care QLD is a not-for-profit provider of quality aged care, disability care and independent living in South East Queensland.

We are looking for
**YOU** to join our SCCQ family as a casual
**Catering Assistant/Kitchen Hand** at our
**St. Mary's Residential Aged Care Home** in
**Raceview**.

We are seeking someone who is able to provide the highest standard in meal preparation for our residents while embodying our values to meet our mission to support people in their choice of health, wellbeing and lifestyle, and our vision to value and respect human life.

You will work as part of a team to prepare and deliver nutritious meals for our residents in accordance with the requirements of the Food Safety Program.

Working as an Aged Care Worker you can be asked, within reason, to assist in other areas of the home if required.

**More about you**:

- You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide high quality meals
- Attention to detail and ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
- Experience in Aged Care environment (desired but not essential).
- Must be flexible with start time and days (including weekends).
- Good knowledge of food safety (preferable HACCP).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to manage your time effectively
- Posses up to date COVID 19 and flu vaccinations
