We do this by providing low cost automated financial advice through a digital product that is continuously rated by our clients as easy and simple to use.

Stockspot currently manages over $750 million dollars on behalf of our 13,000+ clients. We are able to successfully manage this with a small team, given technology does a lot of the heavy lifting. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join our team to continue to drive the growth of our business.

Role purpose

The Public Relations and Community Manager reports to our Head of Growth and works collaboratively with our broader team. To be successful in this role you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and draw on your extensive network and relationship building skills to drive rapid growth of our business.

What you'll do
- Develop our public relations and community strategy, aligned to our broader growth strategies, including proactive and reactive pitching.
- Manage activities that help amplify the Stockspot brand and drive new client growth through relevant media channels, affiliate partners, businesses, industry bodies and communities, and other stakeholders.
- Continue to develop and maintain an ongoing broad and diverse network to achieve PR success for Stockspot.
- Curate and amplify client success stories including speaking with our clients and relevant journalists.
- Develop ongoing thought leadership, customer advocacy and policy position as they relate to Stockspot and our category.
- Deep dive into market research and customer segmentation to increase brand awareness and client retention.
- Curate external events and webinars to engage our community.
- Cultivating a community around our brand, focusing on fostering meaningful connections and driving engagement among our existing clients.
- Facilitate personal PR efforts of Stockspot team members to elevate their profiles within the industry.
- Calendar of content and communications targeted to our existing clients.

What we are looking for
- Highly passionate about PR and Communications
- Self driven and proactive attitude, with a passion for finding new leads and opportunities
- Resilient with passion and self drive for constant pitching
- Organised and methodical in your approach to managing a lead gen and sales funnel
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, enjoy storytelling and experience in adapting communications to meet the needs of different audiences.
- Ability to build rapport both within the team and with external stakeholders
- Maintain a high degree of relevant knowledge and education by staying up to date with best practices and current trends.
- Keen to deliver, learn, iterate and grow as much as we are
- Result-driven mindset with a focus on delivering measurable commercial outcomes

Your experience
- Degree qualified
- Demonstrated experience in growing a brand, driving new leads and increasing sales
- Demonstrated experience in project management with the capacity to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and to meet deadlines
- Have your own set of much loved communication tools
- An understanding of financial products and investment concepts is a huge plus
