Purpose of the role
You will be the driving force behind the growth and development of the Tax and Accounting sales team in Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure training materials are kept up to date and aligned to company roadmaps and messaging. Apart from enhancing new hire onboarding programs and ensuring budgets are monitored and maintained you will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring the sales team to assist in their continued career development.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow, develop and showcase your skills in a global technology organisation, where you have an impact from day one. You will be responsible for;
- Establishing the training needs of the sales organization by collaborating with sales leadership, analyzing sales KPI's and performance results
- Actively contribute to the development of the Wolters Kluwer Training Portal. Update the portal training course system, learning materials and database in collaboration with training partners.
- Creating metrics to monitor and evaluate the success of training programs and providing reporting and feedback on their effectiveness and progress - ensuring that knowledge transfer is successful and the sales team are all ‘singing off the same sheet’
- Building and running training programs across all levels of the sales organisation; in sales techniques, run role plays, and teach back sessions
- Evaluating existing training and collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to develop training materials that achieve defined learning outcomes
- Aligning training to product roadmap ensuring sales team are fully across of key aspects and selling points when engaging with customers and supporting retention and migration activities.
- Running workshops training on wins from previous quarter, ensuring continual development of skills across function
- Working cross functionally with marketing and product teams to remain up to date with roadmaps and customer journeys to enhance sales training
- Driving sales team to achieving their KPIs, maintaining records of training and development conducted
- Coaching sales individuals who in need of additional support to foster their sales by conducting skills gap analyses identifying their areas of improvement
- Develop and maintain partnerships with staff and managers across a variety of departments including Sales, Customer Success, Editorial and Customer Service.

- First year Client Retention Rate
- Customer Feedback (NPS)
- Training Attendance & Engagement Rate
- Quality of Training Portal & Content Delivery
About you:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferably within SaaS environment
- Experience in delivering software training, or a similar development/coaching role
- E-learning and instructional design and Learning Management System expertise
- Strong and effective coaching skills, with the capability of developing a team of skilled professionals
- An ability to quickly instill trust and deliver exceptional customer experience across the sales team
- Action oriented - a strong decision maker that is resourceful in managing competing priorities
- Experience in facilitation, designing educational sales materials & programs and building capability across a sales team
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment or Project Management (highly desirable)
- A preference for individuals with knowledge of legal, tax and/or accounting/finance themes
