- _Improve access to early years services and programs_

- _Improve service system/service provider understanding about parents’ direct experience with the early years system and the barriers they experience, including why families are not engaging with Child Health Nurses or General Practitioners._

In this casual position based at our Armadale office, you’ll support the Family Connector team with day-to-day activities required to engage families in the Armadale West community. As part of our Armadale team, you’ll report to our Team Leader.
- You will make an impact by:_
- Engaging with CaLD and vulnerable parents and families of young children
- Assisting families to connect with early years services and programs
- Coordinating activities to bring together families and community in positive ways that provide opportunities to connect with services, resources and information designed to meet their needs in culturally appropriate ways

You understand the impact of FDV on women and children, and most importantly are aware of the additional impacts and barriers experienced by CaLD women and children.
- This role requires:_
- A strong desire to learn and develop in the field of child development and parenting
- An understanding of CaLD communities and families
- An understanding of the Rights of Children
- Good teamwork, communication, and data collection skills
- Current driver’s licence
