Assistant Director, Traffic Investigations

Our client is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to perform in the role of Assistant Director - Traffic Investigations. This position is for a period of 4 months - 36.75 hours per week.
This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the annual program, including procurement and contract management, to deliver continuous traffic management improvements across the road network.
As a senior leader, this role requires a person who can inspire, energise and positively influence team and individual outcomes. The role is responsible for supervising, managing and motivating a team and providing appropriate support and guidance. Effective employee engagement skills are a key enabler in the performance of this role as is a values-based leadership style.
- Hold a relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or
- Hold a relevant building degree; or
- Have significant building or Infrastructure knowledge and/or project and contract management experience.
- Driver’s licence (C-Class) is essential.
- Experience working on construction sites is desirable.
- Procurement, project management/contract management skills are highly desirable.
