**About the company**:
Framework Search and Select is working closely with a highly successful and established Private Quantity Surveying Firm with offices throughout Australia. You will be working for a PQS based in Melbourne that has a strong track record with over 37 years of industry experience in providing both cost consultancy services and project management over a wide variety of project types. They are currently working with Australia's leading commercial, retail, aged care, industrial and residential developers and financiers on projects across Victoria and nationally.

**About the role**:
Due to the growth of the company and the massive uptake of projects, our client is looking for an Associate Quantity Surveyor for the opportunity to work within one of the highest-regarded QS firms in Melbourne. The role will grant you the opportunity to join a growing, well-respected, friendly team in the Melbourne CBD that will see you focus on a broad range of projects including commercial, retail, aged care, education, industrial and residential projects. This role will report directly to the QS Director.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cost planning
- Feasibility studies
- Cost estimates and const management services
- Bills of Quantities
- Financier services
- Sinking funds
- Reinstatement cost assessments
- Independent certifier/superintendent role

**Skills and Experience**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying is mandatory
- Completion of AIQS/RICS OR working towards
- CostX knowledge and experience
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience working in a professional QS firm
- Ability to develop strong professional client relationships
- Strong interest in practical building processes
- High-level attention to detail
