**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**

This is a hybrid role combining the responsibilities of a Fitter and Machine Operator.

As a Fitter Machine Operator, you will primarily work on the palletiser (Berchi Palletiser) that automates the stacking of newly made plastic bottles onto pallets. Your role will involve ensuring smooth operation, making adjustments, and addressing any fallen bottles or labeling issues.

Additionally, as a fitter, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and job changes on the 2-Stage Blow Moulders (Sidel and Krones machines). You may also be required to troubleshoot and assist with other machinery on-site, including Injection Moulding Machines (Husky), Single Stage Blow Moulding Machines (Aoki and Nissei), and Extrusion Blow Moulding Machines (Uniloy, Rochelau, and FongKee).

**ROSTER AND CONDITIONS**

Enjoy the benefits of a rotating shift schedule, providing a balance between work and family time. You will receive fortnightly pay with plenty of overtime opportunities available. During your time off, you can opt for additional shifts or spend quality time with your family. Excess hours from overtime can be cashed in or used as additional annual leave.

Example Roster:

- Week 1: Mon (Day), Tue (Day), Wed (Night), Thur (Night), Fri-Sat-Sun (Off)
- Week 2: Mon-Tue (Off), Wed (Day), Thur (Day), Fri (Night), Sat-Sun (Off)
- Week 3: Mon (Night), Tue (Night), Wed-Thur (Off), Fri (Night), Sat-Sun (Off)

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Maintenance fitting role, preferably in manufacturing
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Toolmaker, or Mechanic
- Previous experience in an FMCG or Manufacturing facility
- Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Machine operating experience
- Commitment to attending and completing all required training
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- D-Class Electrical Licence (Desirable)
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
