We are currently seeking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Area Manager to join our team in Melbourne. Your role as an Area Manager will be to optimize sales, manage cost control, maximize profitability, oversee loss prevention, people planning and driving effective retail operations for our Melbourne region. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires dedication and determination to achieve success.

**Your role and responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Oversee the retail operations and sales performance for stores across the Melbourne CBD area
- Strategic planning and leadership support for each store within the region.
- Manage operational efficiencies and promote innovation to facilitate business improvement.
- Maintain each store’s high-quality operational standards, develop strategies for improving delivery of products and services.
- Effectively manage financial performance against budget targets.
- Implement MINISO operational plans to ensure delivery of the overall business strategy.
- Maintain the store standard through perfect implementation of the VM guidelines.
- Oversee management and recruitment of store teams, rosters, and wage control
- Engage in new store openings and new market expansion in fields through training, stock management and floor plans
- Train, motivate and inspire the sales teams and store managers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annually report to analyze and improve the store performance.
- Work collaboratively with the Store Managers and the Sales Director in order to develop the brand, maximize sales and grow customer loyalty

**Skills and experiences**:

- A similar regional or area manager role with more than 3 years’ experience within retail industry.
- Previous experience in a multi-site retail management environment with similar number of stores.
- Highly organized, with strong commercial and problem-solving skills.
- A strong retail background with a passion to achieve company KPI's
- Ability to coordinate with various teams within the business to assist multiple sites’ every day needs and major projects or initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Effective time management skills to best manage the priorities of multiple sites and tasks.
- Basic IT skills including but not limited to databases, POS system, and Microsoft Office.
- Possess a self-directed attitude and an ability to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and positive working attitude.
- A current driver's license and reliable car will be highly desirable.

**To Apply**

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
