About Us
We are a busy and well-loved **Korean BBQ restaurant** that prides itself on delivering delicious food and excellent customer service. To support our growing operations, we are looking for a **Full-Time Assistant Manager** who can work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations (FOH & BOH coordination).
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards.
- Assist with rostering, shift management, and staff scheduling.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues professionally.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and supplier coordination.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Contribute to sales growth through promotions, upselling, and service improvements.
- Step in and manage the restaurant in the Manager’s absence.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a **supervisor or team leader role** (hospitality preferred).
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and problem-solve under pressure.
- Knowledge of Korean cuisine / BBQ service is an advantage (training provided).
- Reliable, punctual, and hands-on attitude.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
