**About Austin Adult PARC**
- The position sits within the Adult & Older Adult Mental Health Service Directorate and provides short-term (less than 28 days) residential, recovery focused mental health intervention for persons residing in Banyule and Nillumbik. PARC provides services through a collaborative partnership with an NGO (MIND Australia) and is serviced 24hrs, with Lead Clinicians working from 0830-1700hrs across 7 days.
**About the role**
- The lead clinician holds the role of bed coordinator as well as using their clinical expertise to conduct mental state and risk assessments, collaboratively develop treatment plans and generally support the multidisciplinary team in delivering interventions to admitted consumers within a recovery-oriented framework. This role is part time ongoing and shared with another staff member to cover the position across 7 days (business hours).

- As the Lead Clinician, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:
- Post graduate diploma in mental health and/or minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Ability to self-govern and escalate as clinically appropriate, as occasionally being the only clinician on-site
- Ability to work across a 7 day roster inclusive of weekends and public holidays
- Current driver's licence
