The Role:
The National Design Manager will lead the design team to manage design standards and design new concepts that deliver the customer value proposition and continue to meet customer, brand and stakeholder expectations.

You’ll also:

- Establish, lead and maintain the design process and lead design collaboration sessions with key stakeholders
- Deliver and maintain store design standards and developer brief
- Lead and develop the team to deliver great design outcomes and to deliver designs and documentation to stakeholders within timeframes
- Develop and maintain design standards for all elements of the retail store and across all brands
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver store design outcomes that deliver our customer value proposition and exceed our customer, stakeholder and brand expectations

**About you and your skills**
You will have extensive leadership experience in retail design and development as well as a tertiary qualification in a relevant area.

You’ll also have:

- A strong understanding of design and construction concepts and implementation across retail, QSR or Convenience
- Understanding of cost and implications of design
- Knowledge of NCC/BCA, DDA, DA requirements and processes
- Safe design practices and understanding of operational, safety and security in design
