Empowering Options -Disability Service Provider, is NDIS registered provider in Victoria. We employ individuals dedicated to providing quality, sustainable and flexible services, that uphold human rights and create opportunities, empowering individuals to live the life they choose.

As a Support Worker you will need to demonstrate the following and can work the following shifts:
Monday through to Sunday shifts available.
We have Monday through to Friday shifts 8am - 10am ongoing
2 on 1 supports for personal care.
One on one supports for in home support, meal preparation,
Shifts more likely to be extended and become more frequent throughout the weekends.
Experience of working with people with disabilities and also complex clients with Alzheimer's and complex behaviors.
Ability to understand the vulnerabilities and needs of people with disability and the issues faced by their families.
Commitment to the welfare, rights, and personal development of people with disabilities
To understand and maintain confidentiality and privacy of clients
Maintain individual’s and service records in an objective manner which is clear and concise in accordance with Empowering Options' policy and procedures
**DUTIES INCLUDE**:
- Assisting to access the community and social programs
- e.g. social outings/ recreation activities.
**REQUIREMENTS**
To be considered for this role you must have the below mandatory requirements:
- Hold Certificate or currently studying IV/III in Disability/or in Ageing Support/ Cert III individual support or have a level of understanding towards caring for people with disabilities.
- Current Certificate for First Aid and CPR
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- You must be a reliable, responsible attitude towards work and able to commit to regular hours.
- A current driver’s license and access to vehicle with a comprehensive insurance that you can use for work purposes and be available for shifts.
- Willing to complete both NDIS Orientation Module(**free of charge**) and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia.
- You must have and/or willing to obtain the Australian police check

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
