**The role**

Reporting to the Financial Controller this highly visible, standalone temp to perm Payroll position will allow you to become a vital cog in a high performing finance team in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll, processing alternating weekly payroll and addressing payroll queries within required deadlines.

Team and customer service focused, you will provide a high level of service to key internal stakeholders and ensure staff are paid on time. The key duties of the role will involve the following;
**Duties**
- Payroll processing (weekly for approx. 600 people)
- Payroll reconciliations
- Payroll accruals/journals
- Update systems/procedures
- Updating and maintaining personal records
- Processing new starters
- Terminations/annual leave calculations
- Overtime calculations
- EBA Award and interpretation

**Skills & experience**
- Intermediate excel skills (v look ups/pivots)
- Adaptability - ability to embrace change
- Experience in EA Award & interpretation (particularly within retail environment)
