**About the job**

We are currently looking for a collaborative and driven Finance Business Partner to join the Tassal family.

Based in our stunning Hobart office, this role will be responsible for collaborating closely with, and providing support to a range of stakeholders across on various financial, operational, and strategic matters, including budget preparation and management, financial modelling, business planning and the regular forecasting process.

As a trusted Partner to operations team, you will turn data into insights, and bring numbers to life. You will drive uplift in Commercial mindset, through identification and understanding of business drivers and using commercial analysis to highlight optimisation opportunities and build reporting and tools to support improved performance.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will need the following;
- Be highly self-motivated, with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Commerce/business degree + 5 years' experience (desirable).
- Be a pro relationship builder and can relate to and influence stakeholders across the business. This means turning numbers into a story. Not everyone is a numbers person
- Exceptional financial acumen, analysis, and presentation skills.
- Think and work creatively and question the ‘way things are done’ to add value and improve efficiency.
- Have passion for numbers and people, this role really needs both.
- Persistence in challenging decisions and assumptions to help managers and senior leaders understand the wider and longer-term impacts.
- Ability to work autonomously deliver outcomes and achieve KPIs.
- Exceptional excel and modelling skills
- Previous experience in a similar role at a senior level is a must for us.
- Finance/Accounting Degree or Qualification is highly desirable.
