The Quality and Compliance Team Leader is responsible for the design and implementation of the Quality Assurance program. It leads specialist roles to support this and provides insights and recommendations to claims owners and leaders to improve claims outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, embedment and execution of the CTP Claims quality assurance framework to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive best practice across CTP Claim
- Drive the continuous improvement of claims practice to meet the current and future needs of our customers and business
- Provide reporting, insights and recommendations to the CTP Leadership Team and extended leadership team as required
- Monitor and communicate compliance against IAG requirements
- Co-ordinate, manage and complete regulatory assessments and reviews, as needed
- Participate in the development and implementation of claims and business initiatives across CTP
- Maintain communication templates and knowledge resources to ensure these are current, available, compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and consistent with IAG requirements and processes
- Provide training and coaching to direct reports
- Facilitate continuous improvement of business processes
- Participate in committees and forums to influence the prioritisation of system improvements across CTP, as required

Skills & Experience
- Several years’ experience in managing personal injury claims
- Sound knowledge of compulsory third party personal injury legislation and associated regulations and guidelines
- Sound knowledge of operating systems including ClaimCenter 8, Tableau and Service Now
- Ability to analyse and interpret legislation, regulations and guidelines
- Ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to balance the drive for improvement with customer, regulator and community expectations
- High level communication skills, including the ability to present to senior internal stakeholders
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Coaching and mentoring skills
