We are currently seeking a Applications Development Team Lead to join the Information and Technology Branch at the Department of Treasury and Finance.

The role is for an initial 12-month term contract duration, with the possibility of extension.

**Remuneration**: ASO7 - Salary Range ($108,109 - 116,864 p.a.).

DTF is looking to transform and modernise their operations and way of working, using digital as one of its levers. This is an exciting time for the branch, as a large program of work is underway to deliver the initiatives of the Centre of Excellence. This role will play a significant role in delivering these initiatives.

The Applications Development Team Lead provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

**About you**

This role is suited to someone who can think laterally, work as part of a high performing team, demonstrates a “can-do” attitude and showcases excellent communication skills.

As an Applications Development Team Lead, you are required to work with levels of ambiguity, provide advice and support to projects, possess strong problem-solving skills and collaborate effortlessly.

Providing technical advice and expertise to support projects and experience in working under tight deadlines is mandatory.

To be successful you will possess:

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
