**About you**

This role is suited to someone who can think laterally, work as part of a high performing team, demonstrates a “can-do” attitude and showcases excellent communication skills.

As a Applications Development Specialist, you are required to work with levels of ambiguity, provide advice and support to projects, possess strong problem-solving skills and collaborate effortlessly.

Providing technical advice and expertise to support projects and experience in working under tight deadlines is considered essential.

To be successful you will possess:

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Special Conditions**:

- Some out of hours work may be Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent will be required to participate in the Departmental Performance Management Program.
- The incumbent may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the department.
