**About the role**

The role entails responsibility for the management of property and motor vehicle claim files including prompt attention to all claims from initial contact to assessment, investigation and resolution.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provision of high quality claims service to clients.
- Management of property ad motor vehicle claims to finalisation.
- Maintenance of up to date claim files, instructions to loss adjusters and liaising with underwriters where required to effect timely resolution of claims.
- Regularly reviewing and updating claims information as required.

**Experience, Qualifications & Skills**
- Broad experience handling general insurance claims.
- Experience and/or understanding of Property and Motor Vehicle claims and practices is essential.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office and a fast learner of other computerised systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and possess an understanding of the importance to meet deadlines through effective time management skills.
- Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results and able to work autonomously as well as be a team player.
- Developed negotiation skills.
