**About the role**:
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team for a female Client. Our Client is looking for someone who is a good communicator, easy going, has common sense, can be helpful without being intrusive and can think outside the box.
We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist our Client with personal cares, hoisting, domestic duties and supporting with gardening. Our Client loves her garden, so an enjoyment of gardening would be ideal. The ideal applicant must also like dogs.

There roster consists of both morning and afternoon shifts across 7 days a week. We are looking for passionate workers who have flexibility with their availability.

Our Client has requested that her Disability Support Workers are fully vaccinated against COVID19.
**The base hourly rate is $31.96/hr plus penalties for qualifying shifts (not negotiable).**
You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan, ongoing training and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities **_
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be Successful you must **_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain
- preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Manual handling experience
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:
- bowel therapy: 1 year (preferred)
- Catheter care: 1 year (preferred)
- hoisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Card or Yellow Card (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
