**The role**

We currently have an opportunity for a **Laboratory Technician** to join our NATA accredited team on a **permanent full time** basis working in the **Narangba Laboratory.**

This is a unique chance for you to expand your sampling and testing skills and gain practical hands-on experience throughout multiple Quarry’s and projects across the south east Queensland area. This position will see you gain exposure to the compliance testing of **concrete, aggregates, sands** and road base. Your primary duties will include a broad range of field sampling, testing, equipment calibration and computer based analysis.

This position requires a** Monday to Friday roster **with some out of hours and **weekend work**.

**Responsibilities**
- Sample and test construction materials in the lab and the field
- Analyse and report accurate results
- Adhere to procedures and work systems
- Perform equipment calibration and basic maintenance
- Ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained

**What you will need to succeed**
- Experience in a similar sampling and testing role
- Experience with Australian and Main Roads testing standards
- Australian driver license
- Desirable but not essential Certificate III in Laboratory Skills or Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques
- Construction Industry White Card
- Strong analytical thinking skills
