Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Field Technician to carry out a wide range of testing for construction materials such as asphalt and aggregates.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coring of asphalt, sand patch testing, and straight edge testing.
  • Analysis and interpretation of testing results.
  • Equipment calibrations and maintenance of equipment setup and calibration.
  • Collaboration with the technical team to ensure high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Proven success in a technical or laboratory environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends as required.
  • Problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of laboratory setup and calibration requirements, preferred but not essential.
  • 2 years' experience in Construction Materials Testing or similar field is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent Health and Safety practices.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Able to manage own area of responsibility without close supervision.
