We have an exciting leadership role to fill on a permanent part time basis (5 days per week) at our wonderful centre in Glenroy

**Assistant Centre Manager (2IC) / Educational Leader (5 days per week)**

**In this position you will work as a part of the leadership team with allocated off the floor time for mentoring, planning and providing operational support to the centre manager.**

To be successful for the above position you must have:

- Minimum diploma in early childhood (or ACECQA approved)
- Current WWCC
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
- Child Protection Training
- Red Nose training (willingness to obtain)
- Food Safety (willingness to obtain)
- Previous educational leader and mentoring experience
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills,
- Sound Understanding of the approved learning frameworks and the requirements under the National Quality Framework
- Experience in supporting the implementation of the QIP
- Experience in supporting the implementation of the Child Safe Standards
- A team player with a strong focus on community and teamwork
- Experience in mentoring and supporting the implementation of the VEYLDF
- Experience in rostering and managing the day to day operations of an education and care service
- Flexibility to work within the operational hours if an education and care service
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday on a rotating roster

**Salary**: $62,347.23 - $128,906.59 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Shift work
