**Your new company**

Our client is among the world’s top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.

**Your new role**

We are currently seeking the services of an experienced Project Analyst, to assist with developing projects from concept through to the final part of the studies phase.

Working as a Project Analyst you will:

- Support Study Leads and provide analytical support in early phase studies
- Build long term cost models, supporting technical teams in understanding underlying costs
- Establish strong working relationships to benefit the project and the wider team's brand
- Liaise and integrate inputs across departments and functions
- Keep detailed and accurate records of costs, comparisons, and assessments

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for the position, you will have:

- A Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Engineering
- Experience in Mining or other heavy industries
- Excellent presentation skills, analytical capability, and attention to detail
- Experience in conducting valuation, modelling and reporting activities in a commercial project context
