**Your new career**
The Stadium Operation and Recreation team provide a high level of customer service allowing the Surf Coast Shire community to participate and support sport and recreation activities.

**What you will bring to the role**
We are currently looking for a Team Leader Health and Wellbeing that has an eye for detail that can adjust to varying work commitments in a gym environment

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work independently
- Be reliable and friendly

**Key selection criteria**
**Mandatory qualifications, experience and requirements**
- Certificate 3 in Fitness (Gym Instructor).
- Certificate 4 in Fitness (Personal Trainer) and Group Exercise Instruction (or willingness to work towards).
- Level 2 First aid (including current CPR).
- Experience in program development and delivery.
- Ability to lead group fitness classes, personal training and other health, fitness and wellness programs, and to encourage enjoyment and personal satisfaction for participants.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- A current Working With Children Check
- You have the permanent right to live and work in Australia
- Police Check results that are suitable for this position (will be arranged by Surf Coast Shire Council).
A complete international criminal history check is required if the person has worked or lived overseas for any period of time OR a complete national criminal history check is required if the person has only ever worked in Australia.

**Desirable qualifications and experience**
- Experience with Gym Master facility management software.
- Understanding of project management and experience in delivery of small scale events.
- Understanding of community facility operations and bookings.
