**The Role**
The EL 1 Production Manager works within the Aeronautical Information Service - Air Force team providing leadership, direction and guidance to staff who provide an Aeronautical Information Service (AIS).
In the execution of their responsibilities, the Production Manager ensures the relevant, timely and accurate delivery of aeronautical information to the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The Production Manager will lead within a dynamic environment with time pressures to meet International Civil Aviation Organisation distribution cycles and respond to short notice ADF contingencies.
In addition, the Production Manager is responsible for representing AIS-AF with high level engagement across the ADF flying community, contractors to Defence, Commonwealth agencies and allied military partner working groups.
**About our Team**
The Production Manager provides executive leadership across the workforce and directly supports other unit team leaders to achieve a seamless production process.
Key processes include sourcing flight-critical aeronautical information through product compilation, publication of essential military aviation products, and executing a nation-wide distribution of products to customers.
To be successful in the role, you will be a highly motivated leader who demonstrates the ability to lead, manage, and develop technically-specialised teams, whilst establishing and maintaining strong relationships within a network of internal and external stakeholders.
Relevant experience in an aviation or aeronautical information leadership position will be highly regarded.
