Established in 2014, Samsung SDS Global SCL Australia (SDSAU) is headquartered in Bankstown Aerodrome. SDSAU is committed to delivering high-quality and sophisticated logistics services to our valued customers through the utilization of the "Cello" system.

The Finance Officer plays a critical role in managing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of asset management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in financial systems.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**□ Fixed Asset Management**
- Create and assign asset tags; input new assets into the ERP system.
- Oversee the retirement and disposal of assets.
- Conduct physical asset counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Adjust system records for cost allocation, changes in useful life, and other asset details.

**□ Accounts Payable**
- Process accounts payable invoices in the system.
- Execute weekly payment runs.
- Reconcile invoices and vendor statements.
- Manage vendor accounts and address internal/external inquiries.
- Prepare management reports, including aging reports, expense analyses, and future payment plans.

**□ Accounts Receivable**
- Manage customer accounts, sending weekly reminders for unpaid invoices.
- Post customer collections into the SAP system.
- Generate reports on aging accounts receivable and assess financial risks.

**Requirements**:
**□**Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**□**Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent experience

**Experience**:
**□**At least 5 years of experience in a finance role with broad responsibilities.

**□**Proven experience in financial operations within the logistics sector (preferred)

**Skills**:
**□**Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems.

**□**Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).

**□**Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

**□**Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

**□**Sound knowledge of general finance principles and practices.

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
