**About the role**
Are you a leader looking for your next exciting role with one of Australia's premier sports and aquatic facilities? Glen Eira City Council is seeking motivated and experienced Duty Managers to join the friendly dynamic team at Glen Eira Leisure.

The role is diverse and will see the successful applicant work across all the facility functions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising Pool Lifeguards and Senior Pool Lifeguards on shift
- Providing leadership, supervision, advice and guidance to all staff and programs
- Managing and monitoring water quality of all aquatic areas and conduct plant room tasks as per daily tasks register
- Managing stadium bookings with timely set up and pack up of courts/programs

Please note that Centre policy requires our Duty Managers do lifeguard shifts on a regular basis to ensure the maintenance of lifeguarding skills. This shift will be paid at $32.10 (including casual loading) per hour + Super.

**About you**
We are looking for Duty Managers who prides themselves on creating a safe aquatic environment for staff and the public.

You are a flexible, motivated self-starter who enjoys leading and helping people to achieve outstanding results. You have a proven track record of providing outstanding customer service and leading others. You have sound written and verbal communication skills. You will be an analytical thinker who can deal with high pressure situations.

You will have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, morning and evenings.

**Skills and Experience**
- Relevant qualifications and certifications including
- Provide First Aid, Pool Lifeguard Award and CPR
- First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management (willing to obtain)
- General knowledge of the aquatics/leisure/stadium industry
- General knowledge of OH&S, manual handling, hazardous substances and dangerous goods
- Pool Operators Certificate (desirable)
- Fire Warden Training (desirable)
