**About the team**:
Coles Liquor is a trusted retailer with three iconic trading banners, Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars. **About the role**:
Leading a team of 3-5 Micro Space Analysts, you will work cross functionally, engaging a wide range of stakeholders whilst developing and implementing initiatives to support the Range & Space team’s strategic goals.

Reporting into the Commercial Manager - Range & Space, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing team relationships to maximise Coles Liquor’s credibility and standing as Space Management Leaders.

You’ll also:

- Manage and govern the Range Review schedule and provide weekly status updates and associated risk
- Work collaboratively across multiple divisions, communicating Range & Space metrics cross-functionally
- Identify areas of opportunity to trial new concepts, and take a lead role in Range & Space related projects across the business
- Coach and develop your direct reports and peers, conducting half yearly and yearly performance reviews
- Minimise financial risk through effective proposals and recommendations
- Drive continual improvement through identifying and implementing process improvement and team efficiencies

**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for a collaborative leader with extensive range and space planning experience in a retail setting.

You’ll also need
- The ability to analyse current processes and desired outcomes and translate this to functional and non-functional requirements
- A relevant Tertiary qualification is preferrable
- Technical skills and demonstrated experience in using software programs and platforms like JDA, CKB, etc
- The ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels of business departments, General Management, Business Category Management and cross functional departments
- The ability to manage and deliver allocated business critical projects
- strong analytical skills demonstrated through proactively sourcing customer insights and data to formulate category recommendations
- the ability to build and articulate category strategy
