**Development Manager - Apartments**

**Location: Melbourne, Victoria**

We have an exciting new opportunity for Development Manager to join Stockland’s Residential Apartments team in VIC.

Reporting to the Project Director this newly created role will deliver on Stockland’s strategy relating to the growth in the Apartments, Mixed Use and Build to Rent sectors. This role will be based at our Melbourne CBD office with responsibility for projects in Victoria.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Oversight**:Develop and maintain financial models for both current and prospective projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- **Sustainability Leadership**:Implement the Residential Sustainability Policy at the project level, promoting environmental stewardship.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:Establish and maintain robust working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- **Market Analysis**:Continuously monitor market trends and cultivate strategic relationships.
- **Support new business opportunities**: Focus on apartment-led, mixed-use projects, including detailed design and feasibility assessments.
- **Pipeline analysis**: Continuously analyze the existing project pipeline to secure approvals and bring projects to market.
- **Cross-divisional collaboration**:Foster a culture of collaboration across divisions to maximize profitability by leveraging mixed-use capabilities.
- **Market and competitor monitoring**:Coordinate the monitoring of market and competitor activities.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced professional with a track record working on High-Density Residential Apartment projects as a Development Manager in Australia. In addition, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- You will have good understanding and experience across the full development cycle
- Commercial acumen, including site assessment and feasibility analysis
- You are a team player and enjoy working collaboratively but also are confident working independently to drive outcomes.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, providing a solid academic foundation
