**Sessional Trainer & Assessor - Health Services Assistance**

We are currently looking for a skilled and passionate Trainer & Assessor for our Certificate III in Health Services Assistance course. Our goal is to add a valuable member to our dedicated and professional team, who can deliver classroom-based training across our three training campuses as well as support our flexible learning students as needed.

**Qualifications & Experience**

This position would suit a qualified health care professional who is also a qualified VET trainer/assessor. To be successful in this role you **_must have a minimum of two years recent or current experience_** working in a relevant health services role.

You **_will_** hold the following qualification (or similar):

- HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance

In addition, you **_must_** hold the:

- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment **_plus_**:

- TAELLN411 **_and_** TAEASS502 or
- a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, Diploma of Training Design and Development or a higher qualification in adult education

**Essential Skills**
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, time management, prioritising and problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite, online platforms such as Microsoft Teams, computers, projectors and internet use
- Well-developed organisational & time management skills
- Facilitate in an adult learning environment
- Demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude

**Desired but not essential skills**:

- Proficiency in online Learner Management System’s (LMS)
- Proficiency in Quality Management System’s (QMS), such as VETtrak

**Requirements**:

- Current driver’s license and use of private vehicle
- Current Working with Children’s Check (WWC)
- Current Police check or willingness to undergo.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
