**Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a positive impact in someone’s life? We are seeking a Male Support Worker to join our team in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home. This role involves supporting a participant with daily living activities, encouraging personal growth, and fostering community engagement. This participant has paranoid schizophrenia, hence experience in mental health is a must.**

**FRIDAY:4PM-7PM**

**SATURDAY:4-6PM**

**SUNDAY:4-6PM**

**More shifts available if interested.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist with cleaning and maintaining a tidy living environment.

Support with meal preparation and cooking.

Encourage and assist with personal care routines.

Motivate and support the participant to access and engage with the community.

Provide companionship and foster a positive, supportive atmosphere.

**About You**:
Kind, patient, and understanding.

Reliable and responsible with a strong sense of empathy.

Ability to motivate and encourage personal development.

Experience in supporting individuals with daily living activities is preferred but not essential.

Must have or be willing to obtain relevant checks and clearances (e.g., Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening).
